Programmes under this pillar aim to preserve and promote local cultural heritage by working together with local government departments, CSOs, and communities in organising cultural activities that are important and beneficial for the community.
In November 2023, KHN collaborated with PKK and Mentarang Subdistrict office in a Batik painting workshop to enrich the cultural values and entrepreneurial skills of the residents of Mentarang Subdistrict, North Kalimantan. This four-day workshop engaged women participants from all five villages within Mentarang Subdistrict, including the resettled residents of Harapan Maju Village.
